On the same day of our sister-shoot (previous post), Jessica brought along her wedding gown to incorporate a trash-the-dress style shoot (although we didn’t really trash it!). Again lighting, colors, and all the flowers from Rae Florae were on our side and we had so much fun laughing and getting her amidst all the ‘weeds’…and carefully avoiding a mishap of stepping on a beehive in the trunk of a tree!! A quiet, yet small panic attack ensued inside me as I moved her away from the tree. 
Thankfully no one was stung!

Jessica is a former bride of mine from 2009! Just in time for Mother’s Day we got together to do some amazing images with her sister….twins by the way (I’m sure you noticed!). Paula from Rae Florae was gracious and brought us 2 beautiful bouquets to include in our shoot. They were a perfect addition to our field of flowers and golden sunlight!

One of my favorite things to do is to stylize a shoot and see it come to life. Meghan + Nate were excited about the ideas I had for their love session and showed up dressed to the hilt! They brought props, including a few pairs of super cute shoes for Meghan! Everything came together beautifully with colors, lighting, and a great day in Little Italy…followed by some awesome italian food!

Bonnie + Marty were married at the Coronado Cays Yacht Club in a seaside ceremony. We were so lucky with all the beautiful spring blooms…and a borrowed bike thanks to a young kid at the park down the street! Their wedding party was also a fun group! Dave Patrone crooned while everyone danced the night away…

So my eldest niece came to visit last weekend from northern Cali and we had so much fun taking pics with Dad (my bro!) and his other girls. I had previously done photos of my other nieces, so we got them all dressed up again and did part 2! Here’s a few of my favorites…
